Yinghong Sophia Li, Melbourne ceramic sculptor and painter.

She graduated from RMIT university MFA in 2008, and the artist residency in BCAC 2016.

She had some successful solo and group shows in both Melbourne and China.

Yinghong‘s artwork mainly represents the features of beauty and elegance of female. Most of her artworks are topics about “who am I “and “animal protection”.

Some pieces of her artworks were created during lockdown, which is showing the distance and careless between each other.

In Yinghong's ceramic sculptures, we can see her traditional ceramic skill from her hometown FoShan and her creativity contemporary modelling shape.

From the way she represents her paintings, we feel the love and harmony from her colors and the details.
